We’ve all done it or wanted to do it. But as time passes. Things wear out and while the spirit is willing, the flesh and bones may not be. 

But. It can be done. It may take a little more thought and planning, there’s no reason why it should be any more expensive. 

The original necessity of having someone with a sense of direction has long been negated by sat nav on your phone 

(But don’t tell her that) 

  

Hello

That’s me at the planning stage. Crossword and a pint. 

Crossword to keep the brain ticking over and the Guinness to keep me ticking over. 

(That, ah, now thats one of the nicest restaurants on the east coast of Northern Ireland)

Semi retired, still writing, broadcasting and getting lost. 

I like to think of it as travelling too 

I used to love going to places, but as time went on. I started wearing out, everything became too much trouble and i convinced my self I couldn’t be bothered.

Even a city as wonderful as Barcelona couldn’t cheer me up. 

So I/we stopped.

Until one day. I was told.

‘We’re going to Prague. You’re getting a wheelchair’.
